Recordings & credits

City life, rain, birds and voices, recorded out in the world. These recordings are bundled with the street, so playback does not depend on their original websites.

All seven recordings are released under CC0 1.0. The audio has been level-matched, high-pass filtered at 40 Hz and encoded as MP3. The bird and neighbour sounds use Freesound MP3 previews. Rain on metal was recorded on a car roof.

Soft tap notes and Alpha drift tones are synthesised in your browser. The watercolour illustration is generated; Max, Sergio and Bijoux are based on photos supplied by Max. The Sergio font is based on their supplied handwriting.
